Wanted to post some of the finer blooms that happened this summer. The summer of 2010 is going down as one of the hottest so I'm surprised I got anything to survive. Luckily I was growing tropicals that seem to thrive in dry hot conditions. My plumerias put out a few inflos and are still growing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the warm weather will hold on and I get to see two of my seed grown plumerias bloom.

This red bloom is from one of the zillion desert roses I have. The crazy thing is that none of the new ones have bloomed. This is a two year old adenium that had scale over the winter and recovered nicely.

The other images here are from a aztec gold plumeria and a Jungle Jacks Divine plumeria. They both smell great.

Enjoy the blooms.

Thanks for the nice pics. I'm addicted to plumerias. I have recently gotten back into them, more than I ever have, now that I'm living in Phoenix. I bought 1 ea of the Jungle Jack's 'Mini White' and 'Divine' rooted cuttings last November. Can't wait until they bloom. I got a smokin' deal on 2 Dwarf Singapore Pinks from a grower in Ohio called Hirts Gardens. They are selling them on Amazon and Ebay.
$14.99 for a rooted D.S.P. is unheard of especially when some growers are selling these in excess of $40.

Thanks for the link to Hirts. I've already sent it on to a friend who wants a dwarf. I'll be posting some of my latest blooms soon.
